Tawa:Beilschmiedia tawa

Tawa is a native timber to New Zealand and has a white to pale brown coloured heartwood with a straight grain and fine texture. Logs sometimes contain portions of black heartwood, known as "coloured Tawa". The timber is sometimes known as New Zealand Oak.
