Everwood Simitar standard lamp:

This lamp was the first one I made as a commission for a local client, the client had bought the shade over seas and she gave me the base design concept for me to do with what I pleased. Itwas only in the shop for 2 days pending delivery and the positive comments I received encouraged me to make another for stock.

This one is all jarrah, laminated in 6mm wide strips it is hollow allowing the cable to materialise at the top.

The new one under construction is laminated from 8mmwide strips ofAmerican cherry with a base laminated from 20mm wide strips of jarrah , I have yet to settle on a shade for this one. I can make this laminated in any timber the two I have done have been 2 meters and 2.2 meters high.
